LDS View software is version of WordCruncher® developed and supported through the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship at Brigham Young University (BYU).
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) will help with common support questions. Many questions about how to use LDS View are answered in the Getting Started Tutorial available on the LDS View Help menu. It is also available here as a PDF for each version of LDS View: Resource, Standard, and Windows Mobile.
Periodically you will be notified of updates to LDS View, to the electronic books you have downloaded, and to the available Scripture Library. The Help menu allows you to Check for Updates at any time.

Known Issues: |
- HP SimplePass Identity
Protection (by DigitalPersona) comes
on many new HP laptop computers. It allows you to "securely access online accounts and passwords with the swipe of your finger over the fingerprint reader." However, it also interferes
with the proper operation of LDS View (as well as many other
programs, including
Microsoft Office products) on 64-Bit Windows operating systems.
Until HP fixes this, the following workarounds have been found:
A. Uninstall HP SimplePass Identity Protection
through Control Panel (Preferred method)
OR
B. Run LDS View as an administrator (Right click the LDS
View icon -> Select "Run as administrator").
You can modify the properties of the LDS View shortcut to
permanently enable Administrator mode (Right click the LDS
View icon -> Select "Properties" -> Select "Advanced...").
