Windows®
Desktop/Laptop |

It works on MACs but only if you are running PC Emulator or BootCamp. An iPad/iPhone app is in development, but will not be available for some time.
- Is LDS View available in non-English languages?
LDS View software (menus, windows, helps) is available in English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, and
Spanish. The scriptures are available in many more languages.

On the Help menu, select Contents -> Tutorials -> Notes
- How do I back up notes and highlighting?
On the Help menu, select Contents -> Tutorials -> Notes
- How do I share notes and highlighting with other computers?
On the Help menu, select Contents -> Tutorials -> Notes
- Why can I not see words in the middle column of an English Parallel Bible?
Restart your computer so the new fonts are recognized.

- Why does LDS View (Resource) run so slow on my HP Laptop?
HP SimplePass Identity
Protection (by DigitalPersona) comes
on many new HP laptop computers. It allows you to "securely access online accounts and passwords with the swipe of your finger over the fingerprint reader." However, it also interferes
with the proper operation of LDS View (as well as many other
programs, including
Microsoft Office products) on 64-Bit Windows operating systems.
Until HP fixes this, the following workarounds have been found:
A. Uninstall HP SimplePass Identity Protection through Control Panel (Preferred method)
OR
B. Run LDS View as an administrator (Right click the LDS
View icon -> Select "Run as administrator").
You can modify the properties of the LDS View shortcut to
permanently enable Administrator mode (Right click the LDS
View icon -> Select "Properties" -> Select "Advanced...").
- How do I know what changes have been made in
the software.?
Click on
Build History to see a list of all changes made to
LDS View (note: you can find the build number of your
software using the About feature of the Help menu)
If you have other questions or support needs, click on LDS View Support.

LDS View FAQ for
Windows Mobile® |
- How do I install LDS View on my Windows Mobile?
You will need to use a Windows desktop or laptop to download the files and then transfer them to your Windows Mobile device as instructed on the download page.
- Does LDS View run on iPhones, Androids, or Windows Phone 7?
Not at the present time.
- I see text on top of other text. How do I fix it?
The others who reported the problem have said that eventually it just “went away.” We think the next update will prevent this. Reset your machine (not a hard reset, just a power cycle or reset button). This seems to help.
